The Dutton family’s drama-filled show, Yellowstone, is one of the most-watched cable TV series of the past year. This achievement is well-earned, as well, thanks in part to a captivating story, nail-biting twists and a well-rounded cast.
With the filming of the 4th season finished, we can expect Yellowstone back on our TV screens soon.
After the season three finale back in 2020, we are more than ready to see the series return. But the question remains: What is the best way to stream the three seasons of Yellowstone? Keep on reading to find out.
Amazon Prime Video | Apple TV | AT&T TV | Curiosity Stream | Disney+ | ESPN+ | Fubo TV | HBO Max | Hulu+Live TV | KlowdTV | Netflix | Paramount+ |
Peacock | Philo | Pluto TV | Roku | Showtime | Sling TV | Starz | Tubi | TVision | Vidgo | YouTube TV |
Season 1 on Peacock
NBCUniversal launched Peacock nationwide back in July of 2020 and gave customers three plans to choose from: Free tier, Premium and Premium Plus.
The base version of Peacock is free. This tier contains frequent ad breaks, but this issue is understandable for a free service.
Sadly, watching the entire first season of Yellowstone through this tieris impossible, as only the 90-minute first episode is available for free.
The only way to watch all three seasons of Yellowstone through Peacock is by subscribing to Peacock Premium or Peacock Premium Plus.
All tiers of Peacock are available on Android TV, mobile devices, Roku, Apple TV, Xfinity, Chromecast, gaming consoles and more. Fire TV platforms are notably incompatible with the service.
With the free version, you get more than 13,000 hours of movies, shows, news, live sports and clips. Aside from Yellowstone, there are also otherstandout shows you can watch for free. This includes Downtown Abbey, Parenthood, Suits and Forensic Files. Additionally, Peacock is offering a selection of live sports.
Sadly, if you want to watch Peacock Originals like Brave New World, Intelligence and Rutherford Falls, you can only watch sample episodes for free. To watch these shows and the entirety of Yellowstone, you need to upgrade your subscription to Premium or Premium Plus.
Sign up for Peacock by clicking here. The service does not require you to input your credit card information to create an account. You only need an email address, and you are good to go.
Seasons 1-3 on Peacock Premium
By upgrading to the Premium tier of Peacock, you get 20,000 hours of content from NBC and its sister networks like SYFY, Oxygen, MSNBC, USA Network, Universal Pictures and more.
The number of hours increases due to it also housing shows belonging to A&E, Fox, The History Channel, Nickelodeon, CBS, The CW, Paramount, Blumhouse, DreamWorks Animation, Focus Features, Lionsgate and Warner Bros.
Not only do you get seasons one to three of Yellowstone with Peacock Premium, but you also get complete runs of Cheers, Frasier, Two and a Half Men, Everybody Loves Raymond and Peacock Originals.
However, some seasons and episodes of TV shows are not available on the service, making the series feel incomplete. For instance, Peacock only offers a couple of episodes of This is Us.
With the Free tier, you get premieres of NBC shows a week after they air. Thankfully, with Peacock Premium, you can watch NBC shows the day after the premiere.
One drawback of the service is some NBC shows are unavailable. For example, Friends and Seinfeld are notably absent.
Movies and shows come and go on the service as well. The Jurassic Park Trilogy left Peacock after only a month-long stay back when the service launched. It moved to Netflix for two months and returned to Peacock afterward.
You can also consume content from the Channels and Trending section. However, these are only curated shows and clips. For instance, The Office Shorts showcases clips and scenes from the series.
When it comes to live news, Peacock offers NBC News Now Live, Sky News, NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, Meet the Press with Chuck Todd and more. For live sports, the service has Premier League games, the US Open Championship, the full coverage of the Tour De France and WWE.
However, all of these shows and movies are ad-supported, even the on-demand ones. You would still have to sit through minute-long commercials from time to time before and during your viewing, but Peacock promises these will not cumulatively exceed five minutes. For iOS devices, you have a choice to watch a 135-second ad at the beginning. If you choose this option, you will not be required to watch another commercial for the whole duration of the content.
As mentioned, Peacock is available on most platforms except Fire TV products. You can stream on up to three devices simultaneously from a single account.
Peacock Premium costs $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year. The service offers a week-long free trial. Click here to register for the service.
Note: This tier of Peacock is free to select Xfinity users.
Seasons 1-3 on Peacock Premium Plus
Peacock Premium Plus essentially offers you the same deal as Peacock Premium but with a few differences.
First, in this tier, no ads will play before and during your viewing. Some programming will still show commercials due to Peacock’s streaming rights, but, for the most part, you will enjoy an ad-free service.
Second, the Peacock mobile app’s offline-viewing option is locked behind the Premium Plus tier. None of the other plans have this option. So, if you often watch your shows while you are out of internet coverage, Premium Plus might be for you.
Aside from these differences, the two tiers are almost the same.
If you do not like watching commercials, you can enjoy Peacock Premium Plus for $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year.
You can also get Peacock Premium Plus through cable providers like Comcast X1, Cox and Flex for a discounted price of $4.99 a month.

Yellowstone on Philo
If you are not too keen on on-demand streaming, you can catch Yellowstone as it airs on live TV. To do this, you would have to subscribe to a live TV streaming service offering Paramount Network.
Philo is the most inexpensive option you can take, even after its recent price hike from $20 to $25 a month.
Unfortunately, local news and sports channels are missing from the service. This is a big caveat for most cord-cutters, but you can easily remedy this by purchasing a decent antenna. Philo’s price is relatively cheap enough for customers to pair it with another subscription. Read more about local channels and TV antennas here.
Another caveat comes in the form of limited channel versatility. Unlike other streaming services, you cannot purchase add-on networks aside from EPIX and STARZ, which are $6 a month and $9 a month, respectively. This means you are, more or less, stuck with the 60+ channels from the basic lineup unless you couple it with another service.
Nonetheless, Philo still has some of the most popular TV networks of the past year. Notable channels include AMC, A&E, Discovery, MTV and Paramount Network.
In terms of DVR, Philo has one of the best DVR storages in the market. The service boasts unlimited storage, where you can save your favorite shows and movies for a year before they are automatically deleted. The service even has a 72-hour playback feature for fans to catch up on missed episodes.
Due to streaming rights, some channels do not allow you to record certain shows and movies.
Moreover, Philo’s on-demand library contains several episodes from the channels in its initial lineup. Many movies are even available for rent. These rentable movies are priced from $2.99 to $4.99.
Philo is supported by many streaming devices like Roku, Apple TV, Android TV, Google Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV and more.
The service allows three simultaneous streams and offers a 7-day free trial which you can get here. If Philo sounds good to you, click here to sign up for the service and test it out for yourself.
Yellowstone on Fubo
While fuboTV may have started as a sports-centric streaming service, it has since branched out to other genres; this includes the entertainment and lifestyle channel, Paramount Network.
FuboTV is one of the priciest options on this list. The service’s Family plan costs as much as YouTube TV, which is $64.99 a month. This price might be worth it for many due to its appealing content.
If you are looking for variety, fuboTV carries more than 110 channels, including, but not limited to, TLC, Investigation Discovery, Disney, MTV and many more.
Depending on where you live, the service also offers access to local ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox networks.
The service launched with sports as its specialty, and it continues this even today. ESPN, Fox Sports, NBC Sports Network, CBS Sports Network, ESPN and the Big Ten Network are but a few of the sports channels you can stream college and professional competitions in.
You can also purchase add-on channels to increase fuboTV Family’s basic lineup. For instance, all nine Showtime channels are included in the Showtime channel package, costing $10.99 a month. The best option you can take is the fubo Extra package. This provides consumers access to the Cooking Channel, Discovery Family, Game Show Network, MTV and Stadium channels, NBA TV, Tennis Channel and more.
With fuboTV’s 250-hour cloud DVR storage, you can record episodes of Yellowstone and watch them on your own time. You can enhance this to 1,000 hours for $16.99 a month.
FuboTV is available on multiple devices like Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Google Chromecast and more. You can stream the service on up to two screens concurrently, but you can upgrade this to three screens for $5.99 a month or ten screens for $9.99 a month.
Consider signing up for fuboTV here. The service has a week-long free trial, and you can cancel your subscription at any time without any consequences.
Yellowstone on YouTube TV
YouTube TV also costs $64.99 a month, but unlike fuboTV, you only get 85+ channels. Regardless, the service offsets its steep price with its notable features.
At the time of writing, the service is running a significant promo. For the first three months of your subscription, the cost is reduced by $10. This is especially helpful for cord-cutters who are on a tight budget.
YouTube TV offers some of the most popular networks in the market like ESPN, Disney Channel, Discovery, Fox, ABC, CBS, NBC and more. You get plenty of local broadcasts with YouTube TV.
However, we still recommend purchasing a good-quality antenna to get a broader selection of regional networks in your area.
Additionally, with YouTube TV, you will also receive an extensive on-demand library and YouTube Originals.
If the amount of content in the basic plan is not enough for you, you can buy premium networks, ranging from $3 to $40 a month. Check out the list of purchasable add-ons below:
- CuriosityStream – $3/mo
- ALLBLK – $5/mo
- Acorn TV- $6/mo
- EPIX – $6/mo
- Hallmark Movies Now $6/mo
- IFC Films Unlimited – $6/mo
- Shudder – $6/mo
- WE tv+ – $6/mo
- AMC+ – $7/mo
- Sundance Now – $7/mo
- STARZ – $9/mo
- Cinemax – $10/mo
- Showtime – $11/mo
- HBO – $15/mo
- HBO Max – $15/mo
- MLB TV – $25/mo or $130/yr
- NBA League Pass – $40/mo
- Entertainment Plus – $29.99/mo (HBO Max, Showtime, STARZ)
- Sports Plus – $10.99/mo (NFL RedZone, FOX College Sports, Fox Soccer Plus, etc.)
YouTube TV has unlimited DVR storage, and you can enjoy this feature on several devices like Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV and more.
Like Philo and fuboTV, the service only allows three simultaneous streams with no option of upgrading.
The service has a 7-day free trial for you to test out the service. Check out seasons one to three of Yellowstone on YouTube TV by clicking here.
Is Yellowstone on Amazon Prime?
Yes, but for an extra cost. Aside from Amazon Prime’s $12.99 a month base fee ($8.99 a month for Amazon Video only), you will also need to cough up an additional $1.99 per episode.
Take note: The $1.99 price only grants you the standard quality version of the episode. If you want to watch in high-quality definition, you would have to pay $2.99 per episode or $29.99 per season.
Nonetheless, all three seasons of Yellowstone are available on Amazon Prime.
Sadly, it is, for the most part, an on-demand streaming service only, so you cannot watch the show through the Paramount Network. Even if you subscribe to Paramount+ through Amazon Prime, you still cannot stream Yellowstone because the series is not yet a part of Paramount+’s library.
Amazon Prime Video offers a generous 30-day free trial to new subscribers. You can register for the service here.
Is Yellowstone TV Show on Netflix?
Despite Netflix’s vast selection of dramas, Yellowstone is not a part of its library at the moment. This is thanks, in part, to Paramount Network’s deal with NBCUniversal to have the show be streamed exclusively on Peacock.
Like Amazon Prime, Netflix is purely an on-demand service, so it does not carry Paramount Network.
Netflix offers three plans with no free trials. The basic package costs $8.99 a month. You can sign up for Netflix by clicking here.
How do I Watch Yellowstone for Free?
At the moment, there are no legal ways to watch the entirety of Yellowstone for free.
You can stream the first episode through Peacock’s Free tier or utilize the free trials of the streaming services we mentioned, but that’s it. These are not a permanent fixes, especially since the fourth season of Yellowstone is coming soon.

Conclusion
Households are on the edge of their seats as the Duttons resolve their family drama. With twists and turns captivating audiences, it is best not to be out of the loop.
Peacock is the only on-demand streaming service where you can binge-watch Yellowstone on a tight budget.Amazon Prime also carries Yellowstone, but its episodes are locked behind another fee.
For live TV viewing, Philo, fuboTV and YouTube TV are your best bets for Paramount Network. Some of these services’ features are better than the others, so the decision comes down to your preferences.
The Dutton family has experienced loss, violence and death throughout three seasons. They will sadly and surely experience more in the future, so make sure to catch up on any missed episodes before the fourth season drops.
