How do you watch Tucker Carlson without cable, if you love conservative or right leaning political punditry? He is a little more confrontational than what you find on Fox and Friends or The Five, but that’s his appeal.

He is known for his no-holds-barred interviewing style and telling it like it is. People either love him or hate him but he is one of Fox News Channel’s longest-serving personalities and has the distinction, at the time of this writing, of having the number one show on all of cable. During primetime, Tucker Carlson is sometimes more popular than ESPN.

Many people just find it too expensive to watch Tucker Carslon on traditional cable or satellite TV. Maybe you would like to cut the cord but think you won’t be able to watch Tucker Carlson on the Fox News channel.

The good news is, you can cut cable and still watch Tucker Carlson..

You can watch Tucker Carlson on the Fox News channel without cable by streaming it on either Sling, Vidgo, Hulu + Live TV or YouTube TV. To do so, all you need is a good internet connection.

However, there are some important differences between these streaming services.

Read on to find out which service best works for you and your family.

Tucker Carlson on Sling Blue

Sling costs $35/month for access to 43 channels and 50 hours of free DVR recording. Best of all, it has the Fox News channel where you can watch Tucker Carlson. Other prominent channels include CNN, Food Network, and the Discovery Channel. Sling Blue is the least expensive way to watch the Tucker Carlson show.

Sling

Since the base package is quite affordable and includes the Fox News channel, you may want to add additional programming.

Extra bundles are available starting at $6, or you can choose the 4 Extras Deal for $13.

The Total TV Deal offers $45 worth of extras, including 200 hours of DVR Plus, for only $21, or $27 when you combine Sling Orange and Sling Blue.

You also have the option of adding premium movie and specialty channels starting at $3/month. Local channels are not available via Sling but can be viewed using an over-the-air HD antenna. You can read our post 4 things cable companies don’t want you to know about antennas here. We recommend this TV antenna regardless of your streaming service.

Sling is contract-free, which makes it easy to cancel or change your plan. On Sling Blue, you can simultaneously stream on up to three devices. Sling is known for giving lots of discounts when you join, and so far, it hasn’t changed. Currently, there is an intro offer of $10 for the first month.

Additionally, there are a bunch of options allowing you to mix and match various programming and hardware bundles to further personalize your viewing experience. Their current special offers include:

  • Free Chromecast with Google TV with a month of prepaid service
  • Free HD antenna when you prepay for two months of service
  • AirTV 2 and an HD antenna for $49 with three months of prepaid service
  • AirTV Anywhere and an HD antenna for $99 when you prepay for 3 three months of service
  • Free AirTV mini with two months of prepaid service

You can watch using the Sling app or your web browser. If you have a streaming device like Fire Stick or Roku, you can also access Sling.

Sign up for Sling through the app or on their website. You will need to create an account with your email, then choose your programming and if you want them, add the extras. Add your billing information and follow the instructions to complete your sign-up.

Tucker Carlson Is on Vidgo

Among the streaming platforms, Vidgo is a more recent arrival. The good news is, the Fox News Channel is included in the main channel lineup for Vidgo TV. It starts at $55/month for the basic plan with 93 channels.

If you want an expanded lineup, you can choose 112 channels for $79.95/month.

They also offer a Spanish language package for $30/month. All of their plans offer a seven-day free trial.

Vidgo

Vidgo offers access to live sports, news, and local stations. However, at the moment, they only have agreements with ABC and FOX. If you watch shows on NBC and CBS, you should get an antenna. We recommend this antenna. Vidgo frequently adds new channels so their offerings could change in the future.

Vidgo also offers TV Everywhere. This feature allows you to download TV network apps and use them with your Vidgo login credentials, thus eliminating the need for multiple subscriptions.

Vidgo does not have a DVR service but they do have a 24-hour playback for many of their popular channels. Vidgo also offers a Social TV option, which is essentially a chat function that lets you connect with friends and family while streaming content. There are also no extras or add-ons.

Vidgo allows streaming on up to three devices at once. You can watch Vidgo on iOS, Android, Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV, web browsers, and Chromecast. If you only have a tablet or a phone, you can use AirPlay or Chromecast to view Vidgo on your TV using your web browser, but only if your TV is Airplay or Chromecast-compatible. Alternately, you can connect your device to your TV with an HDMI cable.

While their model is solid, their offerings will remain mediocre until they grow partnerships with more channels and networks. They don’t offer the add-ons or DVR recordings like Sling and are more expensive.

Tucker Carlson on Hulu Live TV

Hulu + Live TV will cost you $69.99/month to access everything in the Hulu streaming library, including original content. 50 hours of DVR storage is included with the price.

Along with Tucker Carlson on the Fox News channel, you get 75+ of live and on-demand TV channels. Hulu also now includes ESPN+ and Disney+.

Hulu Live TV

Stream on up to two screens at once with the basic plan, or add 200 hours of Cloud DVR recording and unlimited in-home viewing for an additional cost.

With Cloud DVR access, you can view all your recorded content everywhere you go.

Hulu + Live TV offers a plethora of add-ons. Choose from a full lineup of premium movie and entertainment channels, sports packages, or a Spanish language option. Local channels and networks are available for news, sports, and program viewing.

However, regional restrictions and blackouts may apply to selected live sporting events.

To watch Fox News Channel and Tucker Carlson on Hulu + Live TV, you need to sign up for a subscription. Once you sign up and provide your billing information, you’ll be able to begin a free seven-day trial. This offer is valid for returning customers as well as new ones. All you need is a high-speed internet connection, and a supported Apple or Android device, such as:

  • Apple TV
  • Chromecast
  • Fire TV/Fire Stick
  • Nintendo Switch
  • Roku
  • Xbox

If you don’t have any of these devices, you can watch by loading Hulu.com in your web browser.

Hulu + Live TV is hands down the most costly of all the streaming options if you look at a strict live channel lineup and price comparison. However, you are getting access to all of Hulu’s streaming content plus ESPN+ and Disney+ in addition to live TV. Even with upgrades and premium services, Hulu + Live TV is still cheaper than cable.

Tucker Carlson on YouTube TV

YouTube TV comes with premium channels, 4K quality video service, unlimited streams, and downloadable recordings. Watch on any device with the YouTube TV app or in a web browser. All you need to get started is a Google account. Then, add on any extras to complete your viewing experience.

YouTube TV offers a competitive price for the channel lineup. It is comparable to Hulu + Live TV but doesn’t include the streaming and original content available on Hulu. YouTube TV also has more bundle and customization options than Vidgo and Sling.
